Who is it for?
This training is for anyone who wants to:
- Become a Systems Thinking Facilitator for teams, clients, or stakeholders
- Learn how to guide others through complexity using structured methods
- Continue their systems thinking practice e. g. after the 7-Day Reflection Challenge
- Build confidence facilitating tools and methods from Methods for Systems Thinking
- Connect with others applying systems thinking in real contexts
No prior facilitation experience needed – just curiosity and willingness to practice!
What will you learn?
In these 2 days you’ll become a Systems Thinking Facilitator by learning:
Day 1: Foundations (Understand & Think)
- Understand what systems are and how to see them
- Apply the 9 Core Concepts of systems thinking to your work
- Practice the 7 Core Habits of systems thinkers
- Utilize the 5M Structure (Motivate, Meet, Map, Make, Manage) to frame and work through complex situations
- Prepare a facilitation session with one method from the book for your own case (homework)
Day 2: Practice (Navigate & Facilitate)
- Facilitate your chosen method (30 min) with a real case in small groups
- Receive structured peer feedback on your facilitation
- Learn facilitation practices from the book: how to guide, debrief, and adapt methods for your context
- Build your personal methods toolkit (methods you’ll try out in the next weeks)
- Create your action plan
Special focus:
- How to show interconnections (e.g. bio-mental-social dependencies)
- How to facilitate online, Breakout Rooms, and collaborative tools
- How to work with the book as your companion – navigation, selection, adaptation
